The Balyayoga - Children's Yoga Method was designed by Masters Barbara Ladisa and Gianni Zollo who, with a twenty-year experience in education, managed to create a new approach to Yoga that remains ludic but with a solid pedagogical basis.
The word Balya comes from Sanskrit, which means "for children" and remembers in Italian the term "balia", the figure that cares for the little ones feeding them with love. The method is designed to gradually accompany the child on the path of its natural development;
It combines tenderness and strength, virtues indispensable to overcome the difficulties that young people often encounter in their lives.
Teachers invent stories of animals and plants to teach children values such as love, friendship, respect, and kindness without being competitive, carrying out every action for their own personal interest. The purpose is to make the child acquire mastery and awareness of one's body, emotions, and self.
