ESPERANTO GIPSYFOLK BAND CONCERT

A concert not to be missed, which in music, will speak all the languages of the world!
The Livorno band was born in the autumn of 2014, from an idea of Moreno Vivaldi, drummer and percussionist and Lorenzo Del Ghianda, accordionist, who had already played together in acoustic projects with a cultural-musical style. Soon after, Francesco Spera, guitarist, bass player and singer, joined in being the youngest of the three. Francesco brought a new ingredient to the mix and proposed a name to the band Esperanto , like the language created with the aim to be universal and spoken in every corner of the earth.

The fourth element Francesco Coppedè is a bass player educated at a music school with a background in jazz. He gave an extra input increasing quality and professionality and at the beginning of 2017 the band was ready and complete.
Their aim is to break ideological barriers and to embrace all the people of the world in the name of music, just as the inventor of the Esperanto language dreamed of. In fact, theirs is a real "world tour", where music is the way to connect.
It’s a journey with a precise itinerary, where in a single evening you will be able to enjoy rhythms and melodies from different regions and traditions: from Balkan to gypsy, South American, Irish and of course there will be tarantelle and pizziche too. All the songs are arranged in their style "Esperanto band", preserving though the cultural aspect of the countries of origin.

Every evening spent with them is a time of celebration, communion and dance, but also of reflection, as they like engaging with the public through short stories about the music performed, enphasising and promoting the concept of folk music.
